Good news!

We are now the proud owners of a lovely 4 bedroom 2 ½ bath home in Broken Arrow / South Tulsa.

Alec packed and loaded a moving truck all day Monday and I helped some Monday night. Then it was mattress on the floor time! Ugh! My back still hurts! This girl needs her box springs! We woke up bright and early Tuesday morning and loaded more stuff. Who knew we had so much stuff?!?! The HUGE moving truck and both of our cars were completely crammed full! We dropped off the truck at the new house and patiently (yeah right!) waited.

The first closing was for the sell of my house. After the close, we realized we were homeless! Not a good feeling at all! Since we had no where to go, we just went to work and waited until the next close at 4pm.

The second closing went smooth and quick! Alec and I figured out that if we angle each paper just right, we could sign and date them at the same time! Talk about teamwork!

We immediately headed to our new home hoping to get the truck unloaded before the storms came, but no such luck. Luckily for me, my job was to unpack the boxes so I stayed dry! But everyone else got pretty soaked!

Poor Alec looks like he’s been in a few rumbles or something. He’s bruised head to toe and I think has found muscles he never knew he had! His mom and dad and friend MC all stopped by to lend a hand...or two! THANK GOODNESS!!!

We managed to get the truck unloaded, the bed set up and most of the kitchen put in place. We also had our new refrigerator and washer and dryer installed. We were 5 minutes too late and missed the cable guy so no TV for a few days. Oh well…I think we have plenty to keep us busy!
